SANBORN STERLING WATER PITCHER. This is a beautiful sterling water pitcher by Sandborn of Mexico. It has the Owl hallmark. It is believed to be from the '50s. The pitcher is 9 3/4 inches tall. The original blue cloth bag for the pitcher is included. There is a small ping or dent on the lower half of the pitcher (best seen in Image 7); otherwise the pitcher is in very good condition. SHIEBLER STERLING SILVER CALLING CARD TRAY. This is a beautiful calling card tray by George W. Shiebler. The Shiebler hallmark, the word STERLING and the number 5760 are marked on the bottom of the tray. It is 15 1/2 inches long, 9 1/2 inches wide and 2 1/4 inches deep. The center portion of the tray is raised in the manner of a Victorian calling card tray and has the initials KMC on the raised section of the tray. The tray was presented in 1897 as noted in the inscription on the bottom of the tray. It is in excellent condition.Image 1, Image 2, Image 3, Image 4. Image 5. $2,750.00
CHIMPANZEE HOLDING APPLE SILVER TEA CADDY, CIRCA 1903, BY LUDWIG NERESHEIMER, HANAU, GERMANY. This unusual tea caddy is 10.6 Troy ounces of 800 silver and 5.5 inches (14 cm) tall. Ludwig Neresheimer was one of the premier silversmiths of Hanau. Originally know as B. Neresheimer & Sohnes in the late 1890's, the company became know as Ludwig Neresheimer about 1900. MORNING GLORY STERLING SOUP LADLE BY GORHAM FROM 1865. The ladle is 13 1/2 inches tall and the bowl is 3 inches wide. The bowl features a fine gold wash. The front of the bowl is monogrammed as shown in the images. The morning glory on the tip of the handle is 3 dimensional. The flower is 1 1/4 inches wide.
